Don’t get her started talking about Aphmau.  Oh, wait, too late.  Give her fifteen minutes or so and she’ll move on.  😛  Anyway, the black frosting was a big hit with the girls and involved a lot of tongues sticking out.  The cake tasted really good, too, and the dragon decoration was suitable, since that’s actually her Chinese zodiac sign.  The big news, though, is that Kia is officially a teenager.  Scary, huh?  Don’t worry, I knew a lot about the stuff I’ve got heading my way even before I watched Inside Out 2.  Can’t wait.

Stacy and I are both wearing dragon-themed shirts to coordinate with the cake, I guess, with hers being the Celtic knotwork variety, while mine is more of a Chinese-style dragon that’s lurking behind Kia.  Kia’s shirt is celebrating her new status and says “13 years of being awesome.  Vintage 2012.  Official teenager.”  Hey, you’ve all been warned.
