Fatherhood 706
It was unfortunate that we missed the full autumn colours – a bit of windy and rainy weather beat us there by just a couple of days – but it was still really nice there. Not so peaceful when you’re with a bunch of students and their parents chatting, but after the group broke up to wander around on their own, it was much better. The girls’ friend is a year younger than Arwyn, but she’s been on a few trips with us and the trio are always excited to see each other. The conservatory is broken up by humidity, basically, as has some beautiful plants, though the tropical area’s humidity was… wow. 😛 The Skybridge was fantastic; I probably could’ve spent a lot longer just enjoying the view and the swaying.
I’m wearing my tribal-style wolf design (although there were no wolves seen in that forest), and Stacy’s getting close to nature with her flowery, purple blouse. Arwyn’s keeping it simple with a plain red shirt that fits with her recent eagerness to get into the Christmas season (seriously, wait until after Thanksgiving, people!) and Kia’s wearing a plaid button-up.
